31B Military Police OSUT Graduation Guide

20 weeks · Two family ceremonies · Fort Leonard Wood, MO

🚧 Content under development. This Military Police OSUT guide is scaffolded — ceremony details, cycle calendars, and logistics are pending verification from official sources (Fort PAO + Army.mil). We won’t publish anything we can’t stand behind. Check back as content is verified.

The two-trip decision

Military Police OSUT has two distinct family-attended ceremonies. Many families travel for both; others attend only the final graduation. Here’s what each trip looks like.

Trip 1 — Intermediate

Forge Ceremony (MP OSUT)

Venue: TBD — Fort Leonard Wood (verify venue from PAO)

Intermediate ceremony marking the BCT-to-AIT transition for Military Police OSUT at Fort Leonard Wood. 🚧 TBD — confirm from FLW PAO whether this is a family-attended event, official name, timing, and venue.

Trip 2 — Week 20

Military Police OSUT Graduation

Venue: TBD — Fort Leonard Wood (verify venue from PAO)

Graduation from Military Police OSUT at Fort Leonard Wood. MPs receive their MOS designation and the Crossed Pistols — the Military Police branch insignia — at the ceremony, then typically ship to their first duty station within days. Crossed Pistols is the canonical MP graduation moment; confirm with your Soldier's unit whether the brigade also holds a separate company-level recognition formation in addition to the post-wide graduation. 🚧 TBD — verify ceremony name, venue, family logistics, and deployment timeline from FLW PAO and MP School.

Upcoming cycles

🚧 Cycle calendar data is not yet available. Army OSUT cycle dates must be sourced and verified from official garrison schedules before we can publish them. We will add dates here once confirmed.
