How long is Army Basic Combat Training?
Army BCT is 10 weeks from ship date to graduation. Most posts follow the standard Red, White, and Blue phase progression. Fort Leonard Wood is the exception: it uses Yellow, Hammer, Anvil, and Forge phases, culminating in the 96-hour Forge field exercise before the Forge Ceremony. OSUT programs at Fort Benning combine BCT and AIT into one longer cycle; length varies by MOS, so check your Soldier’s OSUT track page for the exact timeline.
